Personal Finance Challenge #36: Current Position Vs. Where You Want To Be

There is your current financial position….

Then there is the position you want to be in…

The majority of people out there probably haven’t made these one in the same yet…

The important thing for you is to know EXACTLY where these two positions are AND what they mean, and then create a plan from there.

Only when you have a strong grasp on the reality of the situation can you move to where you want to be…

As far as I know, there is no better personal finance blogger then Jacob Fisker over at Early Retirement Extreme.

Sure the big blogs like Get Rich Slowly and The Simple Dollar are the ones that helped get me started down this road of blogging about personal finance, but I never really got a lot out of reading personal finance blogs until I started reading Jacob’s posts and got involved over at the ERE forums.

Without dragging this out too far I would like you to read Jacob’s post regarding the different types of personal finance blogs. If anything, this will help you to gain a better understanding of where you are in your personal finance journey, and where you want to be.

This is our 36th challenge in The Personal Finance Challenge Series…
