Be The Change You Want To See in the World

You must be the change you wish to see in the world. -Mahatma Gandhi.

You know, people tell me this sort of thing all the time. And I read about this advice all the time. To live the change you want to see in the world.

The thing is that I am living it, but not showing it very well here on my blog…

I make my writings more in the form of a “how-to” rather than a story… a story about myself

When you read my blog post about how I eat healthy on a budget, you get a sense that I am actually living what I believe in. Many people have been trying begging me to write this way and I’ve told them things like…

“People are typing the words “how to” in Google all the time so thats how I want to write.”

“People only scan the internet. They don’t read long posts…”

“People do this, or people do that, I am writing this way for these reasons, etc, etc, etc.”

And you know what?

People don’t necessarily want to read something like that. Some do for sure, but if they are going to stick around and read more then they want to know a real person is writing this, and that this person is living the life they want to lead…

In essence, the writer of a blog needs to be a leader, the one who shows other people the way, who helps them get to where they want to go!

I’ve known this all along but for some reason I haven’t been doing it…

Maybe because I read too much about SEO

Or maybe because I am too shy to really lead and be the example…

Maybe because I was afraid no one would respect my life and how I am living it…

But none of that should matter because, I simply LOVE to write for YOU!

I love learning about ways I can improve my life… I love making changes to my life to make it better (the never ending quest)… And most of all, I love writing about it and sharing it!

I am glad you are here, I am glad you are reading this, and I am glad I have the opportunity to continue learning, and continue sharing…

Will you join the Insight Writer Community by subscribing? I would sure love to have you as part of the community, and would sure love to hear any thoughts or opinions you have…

Again, thank you, thank you, thank you, for taking time out of your day to read this. Time is our most precious asset and I am glad you spend your time here…

Cheers,
Jeremy
