This is my Saturday Rap where I give you my site updates and the best finds on the web…
First, the site update…
I am excited to say that my subscriber count has reached an all time high of 139. To be honest, it was really weird. I hardly posted anything over the holidays and I still saw a jump in subscribers. Lately I have been asking people to subscribe so they don’t miss out on education week next week. Seems to be working…
A new site design is in the works. I tested it live yesterday and we are still working out some kinks. It’s looking pretty hot though and I do want to get feedback once it comes out…
You guys don’t even know how excited I am about education week. It’s going to encompass more than you think. For instance, I am going to talk about corporate training, and some other subjects not related to getting a school education. It will be a five day series and I am going to draw a lot from the posts I did in the past week.
After education week I will be inviting people to submit their guest posts again. I will also continue the interview series and start guest posting on some other blogs. So if anyone wants to guest post here or would like me to do a guest post for their blog just let me know. 😉
On to the sites of the week…
I was debating on whether I wanted to say it or not, but I’m gonna say it… Has anyone else been as frustrated as I am with all the New Year’s Resolution posts? I’ve been highly unimpressed. At first, I was going to struggle to get out a New Year’s post. But I wanted to spend more time with family and friends so I said I would do one after I got back. Then I starting reading the posts coming out and decided that I would just forget about it. It just wasn’t worth it. For us personal development bloggers “resolutions” are all year round. Don’t ya think?
So here I list three and only three articles that I stumbled upon that will certainly help you improve your life this year. Please enjoy…
- The Top 5 Reasons to Be a Jack of All Trades – You know, Tim Ferriss isn’t for everyone, but I still love the guy. Maybe it’s because we are so much alike. 😉
- Eat Healthier: The Eight Best Foods to Eat Everyday – Start making these a part of your everyday diet and I promise you that you will feel a lot better, have more energy, and actually be healthier!
- How to Improve Your Business With the Kaizen System – We gotta hand it to the Japanese. They are geniuses in their own right. I know not all of you have your own business, but I’m sure you can figure out how to apply these principles in your life or in your work. So read on my friend…
On to education week…..
Congrats on breaking the 100 mark. As they say, the first 100 is always the hardest. Look forward to v2.0. Cheers to a better life in 09.

Thanks Yan!
Those are great links. I’ve been working on the difficulties of having so many varied interests, and hadn’t gone that far back into Tim Ferris’ blog to get to that post. That alone helped clear up a bunch of directional “issues” I’ve been struggling with lately. Thanks!
James NomadRip’s last blog post..VHS joins 8-Track, Beta, Cassette Tapes and LP’s in the Media Graveyard
Can’t wait for the new design, Jeremy – or all those awesome posts you have planned for us! 🙂
