This is my Saturday Rap where I give you site updates and the best links on the web for the week.
First the update…
Work has picked up a lot the past two weeks. This is crunch time for us and it won’t end for another two weeks. This is probably the main reason that I haven’t been posting much lately. All I want to do is come home and relax. Although I do love writing, I recognize that it is work. It is a labour of love, yet is still requires doing more than heating up leftovers and randomly surfing the web.
And yet I am reading maybe half the articles I would normally read. Time is lacking, but it is also hard to find stuff worth reading. Stuff that will be more than entertainment and actually help me improve my life.
I’ve had some great ideas as of late, but they seem to come and go like the wind. When I first started this blog I used to come up with ideas while I was driving (I drive a lot!), or while I was doing any other random activity. I would write my ideas down as soon as I could after I thought of them. I haven’t done that lately and I need to go back to that.
I had a great idea for an article this week and I can’t remember what it was. It’s sad really. I remember how great it was, but not what it was about. Don’t ya just hate that?!
Anyway, for your benefit and mine I am going to start writing them down again and you should see at least one good article pop up next week.
Now, the links…
Normally I like to post the top three links of the week here but I have been reading a lot less lately.
However, one thing I love to do is showcase a new blog. At least one new to me. 🙂
Through a comment and an email I came to know of the blog called Blogging Guy written by Jacob.
The first article I landed on was his post entitled Being a Man. I read it and was very impressed. I thought can all his stuff be this good? I perused some of his other articles and I was impressed again. This guy can write consistently well.
So check him out. You won’t be disappointed. And thank you Jacob for taking the time to comment on my blog and contact me about the carnival. Glad to see you getting involved!
Cheers,
Jeremy

Aaarg! That happens to me constantly. I’m better now about writing them down, but if I can’t get to my notebook instantly, by the time I make it only the ghost of the brilliance still lingers!
Thanks for tipping us off to the Blogging Guy.
Cheers,
Adam

Hey, thanks a lot for the mention. Hope things straighten out at work, although you’ve gotta make money somehow, you’ve also got to have time to do what you love.
I laso read Jacob’s post about ‘Being a Man’ and I didn’t like it. I think he is the soft one.

Bryan W/a ‘y’’s last blog post..Is that what a real man is supposed to look like?
Well, I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t like my article Bryan. However, I never indicated that I was a real man. I’d like to be, but I recognize that I’m not yet.
At least we agree on something.
